We’re delighted to be one of UK’s top accounting blogs

When we started writing regular blogs for our website, we had one aim in mind: helping business owners run their companies.

Whether you’re a client or not, we want to share the latest advice, news and cover topics that matter to you.

We know that running a business is tough. There are never enough hours in the day and compliance changes are difficult to keep up with. Of course, that’s just part of our daily work! As we know what’s happening, we’re only too happy to share.

But what we didn’t realise was that within a couple of years, we’d be classed as one of the 35 Best UK Accounting Blogs and Websites.

We started writing our regular blogs in March 2020 – just as the world was entering lockdowns. So this recognition is even more amazing!

Top accounting blogs in the UK

We were delighted when Feedspot chose our blog as one of the top 35 accounting blogs and websites in the UK.

And we were even more excited to see we’re actually at No.17!

This is not only a real honour, it shows us that we were right in thinking that our blogs could be helpful. We’ve been told over the past year or so by a number of North East-based companies, including retail consultancy Canny Insights, that our blogs are just that. And to now rank as one of the top 20 accounting blogs in the UK is the cherry on top!

Helping clients and the wider business community

Our commitment is to give our clients the best advice. While we are accountants in Newcastle upon Tyne, we provide accountancy services to businesses across the UK. As we have continued growing since launching in 2009, our modern approach and client focus has helped us gain small and medium sized businesses across the country.

Concept Accountancy’s founder, Mark Melville, decided to set up Concept Accountancy to break down the stereotypes of the industry. He wanted to offer clients a new and modern approach to accounting services built around individual needs.

And this is something we keep on providing, while the blog gives more general information – whether you’re a client or not. Because our passion is providing advice that helps you run your business.

Exciting new blogs

As we’re so passionate about covering all the topics that help you, we’ll be inviting guest bloggers over the coming months.

Keeping track of your accounts and tax planning is essential in running a business. But we recognise that personal finance and other ways to grow your company is just as important.

While we might be able to give some advice, we believe it’s better to invite specialists to give you the inside track.

So, look out for those blogs written by experts in their field.
